Residential solar system installation in Detroit, Grand Rapids, Lansing, and all throughout the great lakes is a straightforward process that can be completed in less than a month. The process follows these three steps:
Racking: installation begins with the installation of a racking system. The racking system is the framework that the solar modules are mounted on.
Mounting the Solar Modules: Once racking is complete, solar panels are then mounted to the racking system and wired in series to each other.
Connecting to the Inverter: The solar array is connected to a junction box that goes to the system’s inverter, which converts DC power to AC power.
Solectriq only installs high-quality inverters which offers high levels of performance, efficiency, and reliability. Inverters are typically mounted on a wall close to your home’s subpanel and/or electric meter, whereas microinverters are mounted directly to the solar system. AC and DC disconnects are also included. These are installed to allow the flow of current to and from the inverter to be shut off if needed.
